Cukies World will be a Multichain Game

Back in early spring 2021, when Cukies World was just an idea in a piece of paper, there were tons of things being reworked on daily basis. But even then, we were certain about something: the technological barriers shouldn’t be an issue for our end users and players. Today we are taking the first step towards that direction.

We are thrilled to announce that Cukies World will start the process to become a multichain game, by bridging to Binance Chain. This is a major step that will allow us to easily reach a much larger audience as we prepare for the game launch.

Being multichain was a decision that we took months ago. The only thing that was still to be decided was when we should do this. Cukies World has grown beyond our expectations faster, and we already have a team of 20+ talented people dedicated full-time to making the project a success. After long consideration, we are sure that the wisest and most natural step is starting the bridging process now, before the token and game launch, to have other communities involved from the beginning.

The reason why we choose Binance Chain is mostly because of our community. Back in December we did a poll in our communication channels, asking Cukies holders about other chains in which they hold NFTs and where they would like to see Cukies World in the future.

2,000+ people participated, and the results were clear: over 80% of the users hold already NFTs in BSC, and almost 90% of the participants selected Binance as their preferred chain, over any other options. Internally we already had a preference for this network, but finding out that our community was of the same opinion made this decision pretty easy.

We will divide this post in two parts: we will first explain all the steps we are taking to enable the bridge between Binance and Tron, and then we will answer the most common questions:

STEPS TO BRIDGE TO BINANCE CHAIN

1.- Duplicate and test Staking, Breeding and Marketplace SCs in BSC

This is an internal process that is already on-going. Binance Chain uses solidity as programming language, which is the same used in Tron Chain, making this process easier.

2.- Create the dapp in BSC

The dapp is the visual environment where you can interact in a friendly way with the smart contracts.

We are currently using https://marketplace.cukies.world website in Tron. That’s the dapp, which is now connected with the staking, breeding and marketplace smart contracts.

In this step we will clone this dapp to use it in Binance, connecting it to the new smart contracts that we will create in BSC.

3.- Publish the bridge to “move” Cukies from Tron to BSC

The main goal is making this step simple and easy to understand for the users.

In summary, you will have to access the “Bridge” tab in our website and click a couple of times. The process is very similar to Staking your Cukies

When you do this, what will happen internally is that your Cuki will be frozen / blocked in Tron network, and that same Cuki will be minted in the Binance Chain and sent to your BSC wallet, that you will have to provide.

4.- Enable Cukies Staking in BSC

Cukies staking will be enabled in BSC, meaning that you will be able to stake the Cukies you send to BSC, and start accumulating Cuki Points.

Cuki Points won’t be transferable from a chain to another, meaning that you can accumulate Cuki Points in both chains, and they will be used separately.

We have decided to do it this way because it allows us to offer more gamification options, by giving different advantages and usages to Cuki Points depending on the chain you are using.

To put a dummy example, you could get a skin with Binance logo for your Cuki if you are using your Cuki Points in BSC, while the skin could have the Tron logo instead if your Cuki Points are in Tron chain.

5.- Enable Cukies Breeding in BSC

To keep the community engaged in the bridging process and so you can see how easy is moving your NFTs from a network to another, we will enable the 2nd breed with Cuki Points only in BSC.

As explained in point 4, you can’t use the Cuki Points you already have in Tron to breed in BSC, so you will have to stake your Cukies in BSC first to accumulate the required points before you can breed.

6.- Publish Cukies Marketplace in BSC

This will work in a similar way to the Tron marketplace. It will initially use BNB, and then this will be replaced by UKI once our token is listed in any exchange.

7.- Publish the bridge to “move” your Cukies from BSC to Tron

This is exactly what we already explained in point 3, but in this case to move your Cukies from BSC back to Tron.

8.- UKI token Private Sale

Only Original Cukies holders can take part in the UKI token Private Sale. The allocation will be based on the number of Original Cukies they hold prior to the sale date, with around $80 allocation per Cuki, and limited to 50 Cukies per wallet.

This has not been changed, but there is a twist: as some people will hold their Original Cukies in Tron and others will have them in BSC, the private sale will run in both chains at the same time, and you will participate in the network where you are holding your Cukies.

There is no difference between participating in one chain or another.

9.- IDO and UKI Listing

The Initial DEX Offering and UKI token listing will take place in BSC network. We will work in a bridge afterwards that will allow moving UKI tokens between BSC and Tron chains.

This is a brief explanation of the whole bridging process. As we move forward, we will provide more details on each step. You are welcomed to ask any question in our Telegram Community. The most frequent questions will be added below:

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Absolutely not! We will keep using Tron and taking advantage of everything it offers to us, and we still believe that Cukies World will be a referent when it comes to P2E games in Tron Network.

But at the same time we will target other communities, starting from Binance network users, that will be able to buy Cukies and UKI tokens directly from BSC, without having to use Tron.

Thanks to Cukies World other users will know about Tron, and eventually start using it too.

No, the Cukies supply will remain the same. When you move a Cuki from a chain to another, that Cuki is frozen in one of the networks, and it’s out of circulation.

No, there is only one type of Cukies. To explain it in a simple way, this is the same as when you move your Cukies from Klever to Tron Link or the other way around. The difference here is that you will now be able to move them between Tron and Binance networks. Isn’t that great?

And the same will apply to UKI token.

No, you can keep them in Tron if you want. Just keep in mind that the 2nd breed with Cuki Points will only be available in BSC, so if you don’t move your Cukies there you won’t be able to get that breed.

Note that the bridging process will be very straight forward, so you could move your Cukies to BSC to take advantage of this breed, and then move them back to Tron if you don’t want to remain in BSC.Content
